Tomorrow is the last day of school! My department was having a potluck today, and everyone was supposed to bring something to share. I made cupcakes, and since we were celebrating the end of the year I wanted them to feel like summer. So I decorated them with grass, a sky, and a sunshine. Here are my summer cupcakes:
I just used a funfetti cake mix and store bought vanilla frosting.
First, I colored the frosting green, blue, and yellow.
Then I frosted each cupcake three quarters blue, and then came back and filled in the last quarter green.
Last step was to use my new cake decorating tips that I bought from a pampered chef party to draw on the grass pattern and the sunshine.
And Voila!!
